Chilli Festival Tickets

TICKETS AND INFORMATION FOR THE 2012 UPTON CHEYNEY CHILLI FESTIVAL WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON.

DATES WILL BE 8th AND 9th SEPTEMBER.

PRIOR TO GETTING THE 2012 DETAILS OUT AND IN ORDER TO WET YOUR APPETITES, WE HAVE LEFT LAST YEARS INFORMATION BELOW:

The third Upton Cheyney Chilli Festival - a super fun day and night for all the family - even if eating super hot chillies is not quite your thing!

The day event starts at midday where tickets priced at £1 per adult can be purchased on the gate. The evening event now sold out - sorry.

With only one week to go, and in a last minute Glastonbury style annoucement, we can now release the finalised chilli festival programme:

Open throughout the day, midday - 5pm.

Chilli tasting table with Matt Simpson

Chilli farm itself is open to visit as is the Simpson Seeds Show tunnel, exhibiting 50+ different varieties of chilli from the rather rude looking Peters Pepper to the beautifully coloured Twilight.

BBQ,Bar, Teas and Cakes

Bouncy castle and slide

Chilli themed farmers market, including superb products from companies such as Hot Headz, Davids Chilli Oil, Red Wolf Vodka, Simpson Seeds, Lilys Chillies, Seaspring Seeds and Bart Spices.

Farmyard games, face painting, pony rides and horse and trap

Wood turning demonstrations

Apple Pressing demonstrations and chilli apple juice sampling

On the main stage you can also see:

1.00pm - Chilli Talk with Michael Michaud of Dorset Naga fame - Hyper Hots.

2.00pm - Chilli Eating competition hosted by Upton Cheyneys resident chilli farmer - Alex Duck - and the UK's favourite chilli fiend - Darth Naga!

3.00pm - Flaming Feathers dancing gilrs - performing the Can-Can and the Charleston, as well as achance to join these lovely ladies on stage for a lesson!

3.45pm - Fire eating from Circus Malabarista's

Open throughout the evening - 7pm-11pm - STRICTLY TICKETS ONLY!

BBQ, Bar, Farm Shop Restaurant

7.00pm - Live music from Capone - local live band covering The Sterophonics, Kings of Leon and The Beatles amongst others.

8.15pm - More live music from Los Mercanarios. A salsa/latin/funk based band.

8.45pm - Fire eating outside the tithe barn from Circus Malabarista's.

9.30pm - Live music from the mighty Journey Up The Wood, playing classics from all era's to get you on your feet and dancing!

11pm - Close

So, should this summers weather decide to be unkind, please do bring your umbrella's but be aware the majority of the event will be under cover. The chilli festival is very much about fun for the whole family, so please do feel free to bring your children.:-)
