Manor Farm, Upton Cheyney - the farm upon which the Chilli Company is based - is predominantly a organic beef and pork farm. David Hawking and his family have farmed the land for many years, with the current emphasis on home feeding and home breeding. Put simply this means he feeds his animals only what he grows thus cutting down on overheads whilst ensuring 100% organic conditions.

The quality of the food produced is phenomenal and we feel that in conjunction with the chilli farm it is high time that we gave you all a chance to come and see for yourself, with our first ever 'Flavours of the Farm - Tasting Day' on Saturday, October 30th 2010.

The session will start at 11am and end at 3pm. Basically we will have samples of the various sausages that are produced, as well as burgers, bacon, cheeses, chillies, sauces, jams and chutneys. You will also have the unique opportunity to buy smoked sausages direct from our smoker!

The event is not a large festival, but does provide a platform upon which to showcase our foods. There will also be a BBQ, and as long as the weather is friendly we will also have a bouncy castle and will be providing suggestions on some of the lovely walks on the footpaths that criss cross the farm.

Hopefully the event will be succesful and all being well we will host these events on a semi regular basis. So hope to see you there!
